What you are using
Dayglass Audio makes two things. Dayglass Trace is the free browser analyzer on this site: it measures a recording and writes a patch. Dayglass Form is the synthesizer you buy: it plays that patch. These terms cover both.
The operator's legal name and business address go here before launch.
Early-access software
Both are early-access software. Measurements, the preset format, compatibility, controls, and output can change between releases. Keep a copy of your download and of the presets you care about.
Dayglass Trace
Use Dayglass Trace on audio you have permission to process. Do not use it to violate copyright, privacy, contract, or any other right, and do not upload audio containing anything unlawful.
Separation runs on a shared GPU, so it is limited: three separations per day, ten minutes of audio per separation, and one separation at a time. The interface shows these limits before you upload. Do not try to work around them with scripts or multiple sessions.
What reconstruction can and cannot do
Dayglass Trace measures a patch from audio. It does not recover the original instrument, and it does not promise an exact match. Separation quality, how busy the arrangement is, the recording itself, and the effects on the source all move the result. A measured patch is a starting point you edit, not a copy of anything.
License
Buying Dayglass Form grants you a personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to install and use it on the devices you control. Audio you make with it is yours: use it in commercial and noncommercial music without further permission or payment.
Do not resell, share, sublicense, publish, reverse engineer, or redistribute the software or its installers, except where the law gives you a right these terms cannot restrict.
Dayglass Form does not check a license key and does not phone home. The license above is what governs your use; the software takes your word for it.
What you get
Dayglass Form is a VST3 plugin and a standalone application for Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. There is no macOS, Audio Unit, AAX, or Linux build. Early-access updates are included.
Buying and delivery
Checkout runs on Stripe, and with Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, calculates the tax, and sends the receipt. The checkout page shows the final price and the tax before you pay.
After the payment settles, you receive an email with a download link. That link works for seven days and a small number of downloads. If it expires or runs out, write to support@dayglassaudio.com quoting your receipt and you will get a new one. The email also carries the installer's SHA-256 checksum, so you can confirm the file arrived intact.
Refunds
If Dayglass Form is not what you wanted, write to support@dayglassaudio.com within 7 days of buying it and you get your money back. You do not have to give a reason.
Ask from the address you bought with, or quote the receipt Stripe sent you, so the order can be found. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, and Stripe decides how long that takes, usually a few working days.
A refunded order has its download link withdrawn, and the license to use Dayglass Form ends with it. The same applies to a disputed order while the dispute is open.
Consumer law where you live may give you longer than 7 days or stronger rights than this. Where it does, it wins, and nothing here is meant to reduce it.
Availability
Dayglass Trace can be unavailable during maintenance, hosting incidents, or capacity limits. Separated stems expire on a timer described on the privacy page. They are not storage, and they are not a backup.
Warranty and liability
To the extent the law permits, Dayglass Audio provides this software without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or exact reconstruction. Liability is limited to the amount you paid for the software in the 12 months before the claim.
The governing law and the jurisdiction for disputes go here before launch. Consumer law where you live can give you rights these terms do not limit, and nothing here is intended to exclude them.
Changes
The updated date at the top identifies the current version. A material change applies from when it appears here, not retroactively.
